The Ceremony

Paige and Doug planned their own unique ceremony and vows, blending time-honored traditions with personal beliefs and preferences, including honoring Paige’s feminist views and love of nature and Doug’s Episcopalian background. The couple wrote their own definitions of marriage, which were read aloud by their respective aunts, and they included a special section in the ceremony during which they personally affirmed their reasons for marrying.
