The Ceremony

The couple exchanged vows overlooking 12 feet of fresh snow on Mount Hood. Standing Bear Moore of the Manataka American Indian Council gave a reading on the significance of Mount Hood. To personalize the nuptials, each person at the wedding was asked to bring a small stone from a meaningful place -- Jason’s was from the trail leading up to Middle Sister and Anna chose one from the Willamette River -- and all the stones were placed in a large vase.
