“I had always imagined getting married on a plantation,” Linda says, but the search for the right site was at first frustrating -- and pricey. Then a coworker mentioned Mount Hope Plantation, and Linda and Matt fell in love with the 200-year-old live oak trees, historic buildings, and elegant courtyard. The plantation doors were hung with garlands of burgundy gerbera daisies in the shape of the couple’s initials.
