The Ceremony

The late summer ceremony took place on the front lawn of the groom's parents' home on Wayzata Bay. We have spent every summer that we have been together boating and hanging out at the lake, so it was very special for us to be in a place with so many great memories, says Mary. The scene was serene: boats on the lake dotted the background and sounds from a string quartet, seated out of sight, floated through the air. Under the canopy tent, a friend of the couple read from Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet before Mary and Jordan exchanged personally written vows.
