The Ceremony

The ceremony at St. Agnes Church, a gorgeous Catholic church in Louisville, required little styling. I let the marble interior speak for itself, says the bride. A self-proclaimed graphic designer at heart, Jill designed and assembled the wedding programs herself: cream-colored linen paper affixed to card stock and accented with raffia ribbon. Jill and Kevin are fortunate enough to be close friends with two professional opera singers, Jackie and Chris Burchett, and the ceremony turned incredibly poignant when the performers sang Schubert's Ave Maria. Many of us were moved to tears, remembers Jill. But mostly, I remember being in the best mood. Kevin and I were so relaxed that we just laughed and had a good time.
