The Ceremony

We each wrote our vows in a beautiful journal I bought and read from it during the ceremony, Deanna explains. Both she and Mike finished their vows at the last minute the night before, but managed to keep them secret from each other until the ceremony. The vows weren't the only pleasant surprise for the couple. Deanna and Mike also asked their mothers to do a reading at the ceremony. It had to be a reading of their choice, and they couldn't tell us what it was beforehand, says Deanna. We wanted them to surprise us at the ceremony.
