The Ceremony
The couple opted for a small outdoor celebration and invited 90 of their closest friends and family. The ceremony itself was my favorite part of the day, says Teresa. We wrote our entire ceremony, taking several religious elements from the sample our pastor gave us. Our vows were the last half of Pablo Neruda's Sonnet XVII ('...I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where...'). A close friend of the bride’s also read a poem that he had written just for the couple. I wish we had a picture of our expressions during his reading because it really blew us away, Teresa says. It was one of the first things we talked about right after the ceremony.
