The Ceremony

After a holiday proposal, the two soon began planning a fall wedding. On the day of the wedding, galvanized tin containers of hydrangeas adorned the doors of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the edges of the aisle. After the ceremony, the bridal party followed a tradition of Ernie's parents, stopping by their favorite bar for cocktails and photos. From there they drove to Ernie's grandparents' farm for more photos. We chose places we love so we can look back at the photos and they'll have special meaning, says Melissa.
