The Ceremony

It took Fran and Adam just eight months to plan a wedding that unfolded at Berry College Barnwell Chapel. Fran and Adam chose two of their best friends, graduate students, who lived furthest away, to be readers of The Meaning of Marriage by Ralph Waldo Emerson and From Marriage and Morals by Bertrand Russell. That way, they could be just as prominent and involved in our wedding as the attendants, but they didn't have to invest all the time and money since they were far away and on a student budget, says Fran.
