The Ceremony
After a week of horseback riding on the beach, barbeques, bonfires, and island excursions, the intimate ceremony began at sunset on a vibrant green lawn overlooking the ocean. Following the recitation of a Hindu poem by the groom's sister and a reading from The Prophet, Kahlil Gibran, by the bride's brother, the couple exchanged their self-written vows. It was absolutely beautiful, Barbara says. Guests showered the newlyweds with rose petals and warm wishes before everyone headed off to the reception.
