The Ceremony

Larissa and Craig personalized their ceremony by writing their own vows. “We didn’t show each other our vows beforehand, so the ceremony was the first time we really said those vows to each other, which was very special and made it hard to keep ourselves from crying,” Larissa says. They also chose two special readings: a sonnet by Pablo Neruda, and an excerpt from Tom Robbins’ Still Life with Woodpecker. “He’s our favorite author, and one of the first gifts Craig ever gave me was a first edition Tom Robbins novel,” Larissa explains.
