The Ceremony
Krisa and Taylor chose a beautiful church in the historic district of Vicksburg for their afternoon ceremony. Vicksburg is known for its history and we wanted to incorporate that into our wedding as much as our spiritual beliefs, the bride explains. The couple personalized the historic setting by hanging monogrammed banners from the doors, and inside, brass candleholder trimmed in garland of plumose fern and ribbon lined the path to the altar, and spiral candelabra draped with garlands of mixed greenery, plumose fern, and baby's breath adorned the altar. Two close friends of the couple read the scripture and the preacher recited The Hands, adding to the intimacy of the event.
