The Ceremony

Before the ceremony, Jennifer and Gene had spent some time writing out their vows and readings with their officiant, a Brazilian missionary whom they had stumbled upon during their prewedding trip to Guanajuato. But when the ceremony began, the missionary kind of did his own thing, says Jennifer. She adds, It turned out so well just the same, and no one who attended knew the difference. When Jennifer and her dad reached Gene at the end of the aisle, she anxiously exclaimed, I forgot my bouquet! The giggles that followed eased the jitters for both of them.
