The Ceremony

Steven and Jordan created their ceremony with their officiant, Mark Jones, a friend of Steven’s. It began with a dramatic entrance -- each of them walked his mom to her seat. Then the couple clasped hands and kissed while the wedding party made a theatrical arrival on the balcony. Steven and Jordan joined them there, and guests watched the ceremony from the lawn below. Readings included an emotional rendition of Sir Philip Sidney’s “My True Love Hath My Heart.” “Everyone was wiping away tears,” Jordan recalls. “Even the ladies in the string quartet were crying!”
