The Ceremony

The ceremony took place at the church I grew up in -- a beautifully simple all white wooden church with white columns in the historical part of Mt. Pleasant, says Elizabeth. She prepped pre-wedding in her childhood home -- right down the street -- then she and her maids hopped on a trolley to head down to the church. Elizabeth and Greg met up before the ceremony so their photographer could capture their reactions upon first seeing each other. It was very special and we would not have done it any other way, the bride says. The couple married in a ceremony performed by Greg’s brother, who is a minister, making it an especially personal and poignant affair.
