The Ceremony

Jenny and Ira wed in the bride’s hometown of Richmond at her parents’ country club. At first Jenny was hesitant about the location -- “every family event seemed to take place there!” she says -- but the club won her over, even planting the gardens with flowers that matched the wedding’s color scheme. The ceremony took place in a back garden beside a fountain filled with lily pads. As guests were seated, ushers handed out white wooden fans to help them keep cool. Afterward, guests enjoyed cocktails on an outdoor patio before heading inside to the dining room for dinner and dancing.
