The Ceremony

The couple exchanged vows under the shade of a giant monkeypod tree just yards from the ocean at the Olowalu Plantation House. The aisle was sprinkled with pink and white orchids, and Heather, in an exquisite spaghetti-strap Badgley Mischka gown with an organza layer and tiny silver flower-shaped crystals, adorned her updo with orchids as well. The Hawaiian minister blew a conch to signal the bride's arrival and the start of the traditional Hawaiian ceremony. The couple exited to Somewhere Over the Rainbow, from The Wizard of Oz -- in Hawaiian style, she adds.
