The Ceremony

Christie and Scott married at sunset beneath a tent decorated with gold and ivory silk set up in Eastside Park, next to Lake Quivira. In honor of Christie’s heritage, the couple released butterflies during the ceremony to reflect an ancient Native American legend, which says, “To make a wish come true, whisper it to a butterfly.”
