The Ceremony Decor

Cicely wanted an intimate destination wedding on the beach, but Devard wanted a celebration in Texas so all his family could attend. They compromised with a Houston wedding (and plans for an island vow renewal in five or 10 years!). A touch of the islands did make it into the wedding though: Blue lighting, tropical drinks, and junkanoo music (music traditionally played at the Bahamian celebration at Christmas and New Year’s that is similar to Carnivale) gave the festivities an island feel.
