The Centerpieces

Chandeliers hanging above the ballroom were adorned with bittersweet, and spice-hued pin-tuck cloths topped the tables. Three different centerpieces varied the decor -- some tables had three-foot copper trees filled with bittersweet, flowers, apples, berries, and votives; others boasted urns overflowing with flowers, berries, kumquats, and apples surrounded by candles; and the rest had hurricane candles with floating votives, rose petals, bittersweet, and gilded apples and pumpkins.
