The Cake

A tradition in the South, the bride and groom had their own cakes. The bride’s five-tiered, round cake was covered in white buttercream icing and adorned with delicate, hand-painted pink, yellow, and blue flowers and yellow swirls. Slightly more masculine, the groom’s four-tiered, square cake was garnished with chocolate icing and chocolate-covered strawberries.
