The Cake

Months before the wedding, Julie had seen a photo of the wedding cake of her dreams and brought it to her cake designer, who produced an exact replica. The finished product -- a three-tier confection with as many delectable flavors (one lemon, one chocolate, one carrot) -- was covered in white rolled fondant with beadlike edging and topped with three pink roses.
