The Cake
“Our wedding cake was a four-tiered masterpiece!” Shayna says. “I had made a few wedding cakes for friends and when I attended culinary school, so I wanted to make sure our cake was just perfect.” The cake was frosted in white buttercream with ice blue scrollwork around each tier, and fresh blue and green hydrangeas around each tier as well. Two tiers featured chocolate cake with chocolate truffle filling, while the other two were white cake with amaretto mousse filling.
