The Cake

A friend of the bride -- a famous pastry designer in the Philippines -- helped Aileen and Sandy design their wedding cake. And as a gift to the couple, she flew to California to make it at their wedding. The result? A decadent three-tier fruitcake, aged for three months, covered with white-chocolate fondant frosting and flower and leaf detailing.
