The Cake

“Matt and I designed our cake during a road trip to visit some friends, and then Katie Koivisto executed our design perfectly!” says Leslie. Each slice included a layer of chocolate and a layer of French vanilla cake with chocolate ganache and fresh raspberries as fillings. The entire cake was iced in chocolate buttercream and covered with fragments of dark chocolate assembled in a mosaic pattern. “With all that chocolate, we had milk available to our guests as the cake was served,” says Leslie.
