The Cake

Jennifer and Rob spent months before the wedding building a giant wood-frame “screen” that Jennifer designed as a backdrop for the cake. They painted it a glossy brown and strung fishing line to hang different-size mirrored discs for a sparkly effect. The cake was surrounded by a candy bar offering Hostess cupcakes, jelly candies, Oreo cookies piped in pastel blue icing and rolled in blue sugar, and almost 30 pounds of M&Ms.
