“We ordered two round cakes, both covered in a chocolate ganache icing,” Karin says. The bottom cake was a hot-milk sponge cake with brandy, pastry cream, and fresh berries, while the top layer was a rich chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and a thin layer of apricot.
