The Bridal Bouquet
Mary carried a bouquet of peonies and lily of the valley that were all picked from the garden at her childhood home. She and Dean had actually chosen their wedding date to coincide with the garden's greatest bloom! My hat goes off to our wonderful florist, Gene Rubey of Beaver Floral, for patiently checking my mother’s garden every day leading up to the wedding -- waiting for the ideal time to pluck the lily of the valley, Mary says.
