The Accessories

The colors of the day were pink and black, accented with bordeaux, a deep shade of purple. Jenny also incorporated butterflies and dragonflies into the day, starting with a rhinestone pin on her dress, and extending to the photographs, which were coincidentally taken outside a Japanese teahouse decorated with painted dragonflies. At the end of the ceremony, the bride’s sister read an Indian legend describing the significance of butterflies; and as the newly-married couple exited the church, guests released monarch butterflies.
