Teresa & Scott in Fort Sill, OK

Teresa and Scott planned a DIY outdoor wedding in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The Bride Teresa Anderson, 28, pharmacy technician The Groom Scott Lang, 26, registered nurse The Date September 18 There wasn’t a proposal. Scott and I were driving home one night after visiting with his parents and marriage came up in conversation, says Teresa. We had just walked in our front door when we finally decided we were getting married, and had to turn right back around to go tell his parents. Scott wanted to get Teresa a ring to make it official and he did just that, engraving the inside of the ring with the words, Will you marry me? When Teresa and Scott sat down to plan their wedding they did not know exactly what they wanted, but they knew the affair would rely on their skills and determination. I DIY'ed the entire wedding from the stationery, to the flowers and decor, to every tiny little detail we had, explains Teresa. We enlisted the talents of family and friends, so we only had to hire four professional vendors. It was a very collaborative effort!
