Teigan and Taylor were friends for three years as undergrads at Utah State University before they began dating. Taylor was the first to realize they were right for each other, but Teigan soon came around. One moment he was just my buddy and the next moment I realized I couldn’t live without him! she says. Once they arrived, Teigan realized something different was going on. The house was completely decked out in holiday regalia. Christmas was a special time for us because that's when we really fell for each other, Teigan says. One of our first dates was on Halloween and our first 'marriage talk' was on Easter and so he represented those holidays as well. Pretty soon, Taylor was pulling out an engagement ring box from underneath the Christmas tree. Teigan was in such shock that Taylor finally had to ask again to be sure she’d said yes.
