The couple, who met and work (in advertising sales) in New York City, took a trip to Santa Barbara for a friend’s wedding, and after several romantic cliff walks, Tamara thought to herself that it would be the perfect place for a proposal. Eric seemed to agree and said, “If I had a ring, this would be the day.” After returning to New York, Eric came home one day to find Tamara sitting on the couple’s couch. He flicked off the television, told her to imagine they were back on the cliffs, and then presented her with the ring that was missing the first time around.
