Swarovski Crystal Banded Black and White Cake
Brittany and Christopher's cake had 5 tiers that were frosted with white, shimmering fondant icing. Christopher and I chose 3 different flavors after our tasting, Red Velvet, Pink Champagne, and Swirled Marble. The second, third and top tier were wrapped in black ribbon and then in a four row Swarovski crystal band. The bottom and fourth tier were decorated with fondant fabric gathered with buds of live Phalaenopsis orchids and scrolling with accents of small silver balls. The middle tier adorns a fondant bow with a Swarovski crystal broach to accent the middle of it. For the cake topper, we chose a small arrangement of Phalaenopsis orchid buds and a large Swarovski crystal “M”.The entire cake table was surrounded with white mum.
