Stylish Spring Wedding in Hoboken, NJ

Lucia Rapisarda (38 and a group fitness coach) and Damien Petruzzella (41 and a finance director) make their own rules. Exhibit A: their wedding day. "Finding love in our stage of life is rare," Lucia says, "so when it came to our wedding, we wanted our love to be the focus." We planned as though we were throwing a housewarming party." This meant skipping preceding showers and a traditional wedding party. The pair stuck to a palette of neutral beige, mocha and white, which Lucia labeled, "anti-pink." They took inspo from Dolce & Gabbana's style and their Italian roots, sending guests home with rainbow cookies. 
Lucia got creative when it came to finding her ideal wedding day look: She paired a classic gown with a pearl embellished bodysuit.
Partygoers paired cocktails with fresh mozzarella made table side–and cocktail napkins paying tribute to another Italian staple: pizza. Lucia and Damien cut into a cake made of two flavors that blew them away at their tasting. "After Damien tried the chocolate Oreo buttercream, he nearly walked out, it was just that good," Lucia said. "For my part, I melted after I tasted the lemon cake with strawberry fruit filling. Picking the cake was an easy choice for us."
