Stefanie and Peter's wedding took place at the bride’s family’s farm in Concordia, Missouri. The Bride Stefanie Furry, 28, social worker The Groom Peter Nelson, 26, sales representative The Date June 1 Stefanie and Peter wanted to share with their guests the natural beauty and serenity that the family farm brings to their lives. The result was relaxed, rural, and romantic.

After the ceremony, Stefanie and Peter rode in a horse-and-buggy carriage to the pond where they became engaged. A tree planting ceremony was held to symbolize the couple's growing love for one another-and for the farm.
Angela's Country Flowers created the Stefanie's hand-tied bouquet of yellow gerbera and regular daisies; and used the same flowers in the centerpieces along with the larkspur and lilies, in antique blue Ball jars. The mother of the bride hung small tins of blooms from the trees throughout the farm.
Squares of construction paper were pinned to clotheslines strung along a path from the pond where the cocktail hour was held to the dinner tent. Guests found their way to tables that were named for different parts of the farm, like the barn, roosters, feed trough, and ponies.
