When it came to the food, the Wauwinet seriously delivered. During the waterfront cocktail hour, the waterfront hotel served up a mouthwatering spread of spicy duck spring rolls, mini crab cakes and oven-roasted tomatoes. Dinner, which was in the hotel’s elegant dining room, featured roasted sea bass and beef tenderloin, followed by two delectable dessert options, including flourless chocolate cake with pickled cherry compote and peach soup with poached peaches, cornbread croutons, raspberries and mascarpone ice cream.
