This Boho-Meets-Gothic Wedding at Sweet Olive Farm Animal Rescue in Winterville, Georgia, Had Alpaca Guests

Hien and Ryan's many shared interests include art, design, fashion and animals. “We wanted our wedding to bring all of that to life,” Hien says. At their venue Sweet Olive Farm, they decorated tables with vintage items brought from home and enlisted a friend to paint watercolor signs. Hien and her bridesmaids also strung together hundreds of colorful carnations and marigolds for the ceremony backdrop, a wreath over the dance floor and necklaces for the resident baby alpacas.
The couple showed off their fashionable side for the reception when Hien slipped into a floral sequin dress and Ryan rocked a Stetson hat and leather boots.
Costumed dancers performed during cocktail hour as a nod to Hien’s Chinese heritage. “It’s a tradition in my family,” she says.  The couple’s terrier mix ran down the aisle with Hien’s brother. Vintage frames held watercolored menus listing out the night’s signature drinks: a cucumber gin and tonic and a Shanghai fizz with lychee and pineapple. Hien and her dad danced under a homemade marigold-and-carnation wreath.
