Rachel Murphy (26, a sales and customer associate) and Brandon Murphy (29, a sales and customer associate) met through a mutual friend at a bar, and since their initial meeting kept running into each other until they decided to hang out with each other intentionally. Rachel and Brandon celebrated their three year anniversary in by hiking with their two dogs in Big Bear Lake, California. “I kept brushing off his requests to sit down and continued taking in nature's beauty when he finally gave up on getting me to relax on the bench and dropped down on one knee,” says Rachel. “I could feel the intense emotions and when he placed the engagement ring on my finger, I remember saying "wow, this is really happening!"” The couple got married at Calamigos Equestrian in Burbank, California because of its convenient location, having space for both the ceremony and reception, and a beautiful gorgeous backdrop. Rachel and Brandon picked navy blue and yellow to be the color palette to create a simply elegant style for their wedding day. Rachel and Brandon wanted to make sure that the day reflected them as people, with the wedding space decorated with engagement pictures of the couple and the ceremony being very short, yet intimate and emotional.
