Simple Four Tier Wedding Cake

The wedding cake was kept simple with each layer wrapped in ivory ribbon and finished with a fondant bow. The majority of the cake was just for show, except for the very top layer, which the couple used for the cake cutting. For the rest of their 270 guests, the couple served two sheet cakes, a red velvet sponge cake with cream cheese filling, and white sponge cake with fresh strawberries and vanilla bavarian cream filling.
