Sierra first met Bobby while shopping for landscape ideas. She was remodeling her house and wanted to spruce up her yard. One day, Sierra quickly popped into a local garden supply center for some ideas and upon leaving, Bobby ran out to introduce himself -- his family owned the business. Bobby swore he doesn't ever do this but asked for Sierra's number. They went to a casual restaurant in Palo Alto and learned they both grew up in Menlo Park and their brothers and families had been friends for years. The couple popped champagne and discussed a seaside wedding. They both wanted to get married overlooking the ocean, but their families wanted them to wed in a Catholic church. As a compromise, Sierra and Bobby had a small Catholic ceremony upon returning from their honeymoon.
