Shauna and John, 29, a banking center manager, were both born and raised in Belize, and used to check each other out on their way to school there. But it wasn't until Shauna was in high school that she really noticed him. I ran into John at a park festival, and out of pure impulse I asked him to accompany me to my senior prom, she says. After mulling it over (he had graduated five years earlier), John agreed. Soon after the prom on June 27, 1997, the schoolgirl crush developed into something deeper.
