Sarena and Naitik met at NYU where they were both members of the professional business fraternity. One day in 2010 they ran into each other at an alumni event and hit it off, they began dating soon after. Naitik proposed with a custom Groupon for “A Dream Come True In New York City”. While Sarena read the Groupon details and began to realize what was going on Naitik got down on one knee with the ring. The Bride Sarena Badlani, 28, healthcare consultant The Groom Naitik Patel, 29, lawyer The Date July 2012 Planning the wedding was much harder than Sarena and Naitik expected even though they hired a planner. The couple spent the entirety of their 7 month engagement planning for their 800+ guest wedding. Both of their families are from North NJ while many of their friends live in NYC, so they wanted a venue in the area. For the reception décor they went for an ultra modern-look.
