Sometimes, a waitress can help with a lot more than what's on the menu. The Bride Sara Noble, 28, medical sales representative The Groom Tucker Thompson, 30, professional sailor and nautical sports TV commentator The Date September 6 Sara Noble first noticed Tucker Thompson while dining at a restaurant where her friend worked as a waitress. Turns out not only was her friend also friends with Tucker, but Tucker had been asking about Sara. Three months later, Tucker brought Sara out to his grandfather's home on the Eastern Shore for a quiet weekend -- and to her surprise, asked her to marry him. I was so shocked since it had only been three months, but I was so happy because we both just knew we were meant to be together, she says. Forget the quiet weekend -- after crying, hugging, and calling all their nearest and dearest, the two hopped in the car to celebrate with friends back in Annapolis.

Sara chose a clean, classic A-line gown by Alvina Valenta. Sara's gown also featured her something blue. -- the Alvina Valenta design featured a pale blue bow at the waist.
Sara's bridesmaids wore custom-made strapless dresses in navy with off-white silk sashes at the waist.
The Ceremony
The reception took place in the clubhouse. Assorted rustic containers resting atop the tables overflowed with natural-style arrangements of green and white flowers and berries, a look that the bride describes as classic Gibson Island Club.
