Sara knew that Paul would become one of her closest friends, but she never guessed he'd be the one. The next day he called her to hang out, and within six months, they were a couple. She immediately started gathering wedding ideas and used her love of crafts to personalize the celebration with DIY projects.

Sara and Paul made their grand entrance with help from a local drum line.
Green-and-white polka dot pillow boxes filled with confetti were set out for guests to shower the couple when they exited the church.
Silver chargers topped white tablecloths and apple green table runners. On top of the chargers were apple green and black menu cards.
Green and white flowers topped the five-tiered, fondant-covered cake decorated with silver streaks, fondant buttons, and a large bow with the couple's monogram to resemble the bride's gown.
Sara and Paul exchanged traditional vows at the Tabernacle Presbyterian Church. The couple also had two of their aunts do readings, and the minister recited the Puritan Prayer during the ceremony.
The Bridesmaid Looks
To achieve a simple spring look and take advantage of the glass-enclosed venue, the reception was decorated with white and apple green linens.
The Couple
A green trolley transported the wedding party from the church to the reception venue.
Three different centerpieces topped the tables: glass cylinders filled with green apples and black crystals with flowers on top; tall water-filled arrangements with floating candles; and large flutes with silver twigs, crystals, and hanging pomanders.
Crystal-filled vases overflowed with glittery twigs, crystals, and green and white pomanders.
