Sara was on a snowboarding and heli-skiing trip in Valdez, Alaska, when she met Kelly -- he was her group's guide. The two hit it off, and years later, Kelly planned a hike which took them near the beginning of the mountain range where they first met. As the couple set up their picnic lunch, Kelly took out an engagement ring and asked Sara to marry him. Having an outdoor wedding in the mountains was a priority, so Sara and Kelly eventually settled on marrying in Kelly's home state of Utah. We love the Wasatch Mountains and thought it was a good middle point for folks that had to travel, Sara says.
