Southwest natives, Ryan and Erik, couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Drawing on the locale’s timeless charm and beauty, the couple planned a very pink vintage celebration in the city where they fell in love. The Bride Ryan Hendrix, 26, speech-language pathologist The Groom Erik Mogalian, 27, pharmacist and PhD candidate The Date May 27 Ryan and Erik first met as college coeds at the University of Arizona, but didn’t start dating until several years later. The two began to hang out more often once their friends began graduating and leaving town, and it wasn’t long before Erik asked if he could be Ryan’s boyfriend. Of course she accepted, and years later, when Erik popped the question, Ryan also said “yes!” When the wedding planning commenced, the couple had no doubts about where they wanted to be married -- Tucson’s Arizona Inn. “We only live a few blocks from the inn,” Ryan says, “and it’s always bursting with colorful flowers, which makes it so picturesque and inviting.”
