Rustic Vintage Wedding at Boxtree Lodge in Vinton, Virginia

Ashley (30 and a registered nurse) and Joseph Mullen (32 and a college ice hockey coach and a landscaper) dated for two years in high school before Joseph moved away to play hockey, causing them to call it quits. They stayed in touch for 10 years, however, and eventually ended up back together—this time for good. Ashley and Joseph decided that a rustic theme would be the best choice for a summer wedding in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, which they brought to life with shades of pink, khaki and ivory and plenty of burlap and wood details. As a nod to Joseph's profession and his love for hockey, the couple incorporated subtle hints of the sport throughout the reception decor—from the hockey-puck table numbers to the custom jerseys they had their guests sign. —Meghan Overdeep
