Rustic Sugarboo Farms Wedding in Blairsville, Georgia
Sarah is a self-professed nature lover. Fittingly, after a scenic Guadalupe River engagement in Texas, she and Casey planned a wedding in the forests of Sarah’s native North Georgia. “We knew we wanted a place where friends could stay on the property and go from hiking to watching us get married,” Sarah says. The couple landed at Sugarboo Farms and let the venue take center stage. “I wanted Sugarboo to steal the show,” Sarah says. The pair filled the venue with bright flowers and decorated their chuppah with greenery straight from the property.
Peachy dahlias, ranunculus and roses brightened Sarah’s bouquet.
Sarah and Casey sent guests home with plenty of treats, including Cheetos, Muddy Buddies and custom koozies for ice-cold drinks. “Casey and I both love to indulge in junk food, so it felt right,” Sarah says. The peach buttercream cake matched Sarah and Casey’s cheerful color palette. The couple kept their reception décor relaxed, adding glowing string lights overhead, tall candles on the tables, and pomegranates and kumquats in bud vases.
Sarah and Casey chose Beck’s cover of “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You” because “it required no fancy dance moves,” Sarah says.
