Romantic Surprise Proposal

“Kelsey hates surprises,” Jay says. “So it goes without saying that I wanted the proposal to be an absolute surprise. That moment and all the hours leading up to the proposal were details that will last a lifetime.” For the proposal, Jay drove up from Danville to visit Kelsey at Virginia Tech, without her knowing. Secretly communicating with her coworkers, Jay was notified when she left for her lunch break. He sneaked into her office and left flowers and a letter, then headed to a campus garden nearby. Along the garden path, Jay hung mason jars from trees, each holding a note with a letter. Each of the letters included a fond memory and a letter, spelling out "will you"? “There she was, the beautiful woman I could not wait to spend the rest of my life with,” Jay says of when Kelsey arrived at the garden.
