Claudette put her professional planning skills to good use for the reception, working with the florists at Ruby & the Wolf to create romantic and refined centerpieces that channeled the Old Down Estate’s Victorian glamour. Gilded vases overflowed with garden roses, dahlias, jasmine vines and fresh, seasonal greenery, while brass candlesticks boasted gray taper candles that filled the room with warm, ambient light. “We also had a few blackberries hidden in the arrangements,” Claudette says.
